A PROPHETIC WORD FOR YOU - 2025

The year 2025 conveys many spiritual meanings and interpretations  depending on how one is able to interpret biblical numerology, prophetic cycles, or personal spiritual seasons. While there is no specific scriptural prophecy that directly names the year 2025, several symbolic and spiritual patterns can be drawn from biblical principles, current times, and numeric insight.

To summarise this concept let me take this opportunity to prophesy over your lives for the successful outcomes and remainder of this year of 2025.

I prophesy - 8 (= number of new beginnings) supernatural and transformative changes for your life:

1.  A time of divine reset for you, your family and loved ones in every area, phase and stage of your lives.

2.  A renewed and heightened spiritual awareness and a greater ability to recognise spiritual issues and warfare.

3.  A rising up and new awareness in your ability to believe and perceive what God is saying to you and about you.

4.  A season of divine strength, greater ability to move forwards at a greater pace.

5.  A supernatural shift and personal transformation.

6.  A divine  nudge from God Almighty Himself - bringing your life into alignment with The Word of God.

7.  A new and Godly Agenda for your life.

8.  A reset  -  acceleration of spiritual gifts and evangelism in your spiritual and personal life.

....Ps 84:11

For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly

Q. What one thing can you change that will change everything else in your life?

A. Your mind!

Let this mind be in you,
which was also in Christ Jesus:

Philippians 2:5 KJV

Always remember you are only one decision away from living the life of your dreams! If you don’t like what’s going on in your life, you can make the decision to change it. This year does not have to look like last year.  When you make a decision to change, everything else will adjust to accommodate that change!  You are one decision away from a different and new future. When you change, everything else will adjust to accommodate that change!

Regardless of where you find yourself today God is never too far away and prayer and praying will enable you to close any gap, distance, separation or even isolation that you may presently be experiencing.

Every day offers you a chance to begin again. Make a decision today not to focus on the failures of yesterday.  Allow yourself to possess the courage to start over and  fill your mind with positive thoughts and expectations, I call this possibility thinking!

Remember, happiness doesn’t depend upon who you are or what you have, it depends solely upon what you think.

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he

Proverbs 23:7 KJV

Can We Trust  God in All Circumstances?

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Dictionary.com  defines  trust as: reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.

If you have ever experienced trust issues you are not alone.   Increasingly it is becoming difficult to trust those around us especially with sensitive information about ourselves or our loved ones especially if we feel our trust may be mishandled or misplaced. The dread or fear of being betrayed can become immense.  So how can we resolve this?

How To?

The best way to learn about trusting the Lord in difficult times is to go to the promises of God.  When was the last time that you spent time studying The Word of God?  God’s Word is replete with His promises that teach us about having faith in Him even through the difficult and hard times.  The book of Proverbs tells us that we must trust  with all our hearts, leaving no room for gaps or doubt.

The Word of God tells us not to worry but this is not always easy to do.  Furthermore we are instructed to pray and to do so with regularity! Prayer will not only help to change the situation you face but it will also change the way you look at your situation.

Yes, you can trust God, He will not fail or betray you and, as an added bonus, He will give you peace even when everything around you is in turmoil.  Allow yourself to trust God and you too will experience the peace of God.

Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your

hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

 JANUARY 2023

 Lamentations 3:22-24

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
    for his compassions never fail.
23
They are new every morning;
    great is your faithfulness.
24
I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.”

Despite all that has and is taking place around us we are blessed and privileged to have the opportunity to experience another New Year.

The Prophet Jeremiah was an individual who was going through one of the darkest periods of his life but he never gave up on hope as we see in Lamentations 3:21. But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope.

Just like Jeremiah we sometimes need to remind ourselves about the truth of God's Word and the facts of life that we are faced with on a daily basis and the differences between what is true and what is factual.  Often what God has promised us and said to us does not match what is actually happening in our lives.

In the quoted verses above The author had to remind himself about what was true, because his own circumstances offered no hope. Jeremiah stated that his “soul was bereft of peace” and his “hope from the Lord” had disappeared (Lam 3:17–18). Jeremiah had to make a decision to believe God (verses 22–24) and he used The Word of God to restore his hope. I want to encourage you today to do the same.

When you are feeling low and think God is absent, deaf or unconcerned about your predicament  use The Word of God to remind yourself about these truths:

God’s love is steadfast and steady.

God and Word cannot be stopped.

God’s mercies are ongoing, new every morning, ceaseless, generous and abundant.

God is faithful and great in his faithfulness.

God has given Himself to you.  God is your portion

If you have God you have access to everything He has access to.

Remind yourself today - no matter what you are experiencing right now or going through begin to rehearse these truths - they are just as staggering as they are sustaining  and have the ability to strengthen you wherever you may presently find yourself right now.

Activate the truth of God’s Word in your life today by meditating on it and repeating it to yourself and the atmosphere surrounding your life.

PRAYER CHANGES THINGS!

We have all had to face difficult and even sad times of late and so much around us is constantly changing.  Thankfully God is not subject to change and remains constant in a time of many inconsistencies.

Whoever, or wherever you are God is right there with you...He's nearer than hands or feet for you have His Word even in your mouth.  Use God's Word to pray yourself out of any situation that you may face or be confronted with.

The Bible has many examples of people who prayed and as a result brought visible change to their communities and environments.

Look how Daniel prayed - Daniel 9:16-18

16 Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem,(say the name of your location) thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach to all that are about us.

17 Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake.

18 O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.

AMEN!

Covid, Crises & Christ

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God:

I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee

with the right hand of my righteousness

Isaiah 41:10

The advent of  COVID-19 has changed and transformed our global reality overnight.  The world was literally caught off guard and thrown into a crises that it is still reeling from.

When crises come into our lives we are reminded of just how really fragile and susceptible we all are to the things that are going on around us.  We all make plans for our future, thinking that we are in control of our lives, but a situation like our present one - a global pandemic has the ability to change EVERYTHING!

Human life is priceless regardless of whatever status we are regarded by.  The economic consequences that a catastrophe like Covid 19  brings is one we are compelled to face together and we must endeavour at all costs to care for the lives of all.

Diseases, just like crises, makes no distinction between our given societal classifications or status, our wealth, fame or even obscurity; regardless of this we find ourselves wholly vulnerable and  interconnected to each other and in need of each other...We have a common enemy but together we can and we will overcome!

Problems whether big or small are not an issue for God, He is the true source of every type of deliverance and lasting security and He is trustworthy. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind (2 Tim. 1: 7).  Knowing this will assist you to face all circumstances with confidence and in complete peace (Isaiah 26: 3).

Begin to feed your faith the moreso in these uncertain times.  Just like King David "encourage yourself in The Lord" (1 Sam 30:6) if you cannot find anyone around you to do so.  Your hope will encourage you to move forward in the midst of every difficulty and also in all the circumstances that you face daily.

I encourage you today -  let us join together and become as one in prayer not just for our own lives and healing, but let us remember to include in our prayers, healing for others and our sick world and land:

If my people, which are called by my name

shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face,

and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven,

and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

2 Chronicles 7:14

Prayer was not designed just to be a formula or something that only “works” if you do it perfectly or  in just the right way. Nevertheless it should never be a careless or thoughtless endeavour.

A careless prayer is  like an arrow that is shot haphazardly at a target. Prayers that are prayed with little care or effort typically will do little after leaving one's mouth!  However when shot, spoken with skill, accuracy and direction  your prayers  will soar through the heavens directly to the throne of God Himself (Revelation 8:4)

God wants you to be a  skilled Archer, one disciplined in the power of prayer, able to send out your prayers like arrows  which are  fervent and strong.  Prayers  that heal and impact nations, change histories, individual lives,  and most of all reveal God’s glory.

You too can learn how to pray with precision and power - contact us today for more details via this website!

GOD ALWAYS HAS A RAINBOW (A Deeper Meaning)

Every time a rainbow appears in the sky the above passage of scripture Reminds us God has completely enmeshed Himself and bound Himself to His Word and Covenant with us.

So day and night, no matter what “business” comes before God’s throne, He is thinking about us and the mercy that He has promised to show toward us regardless of how intense, immediate or horrible our adverse circumstances are.

If we fast forward - God signed this covenant in the blood of His own Son to show the depths of His intention to keep His side of the contract even to the death!

The rainbow tells the same story. God intends to show us HIS people, mercy, so He has surrounded Himself and us in a bow to have a constant reminder of His covenant so that He and we cannot forget!

Even now when Jesus looks at the Father, He sees the bow. When the Father looks at the Son, He sees the bow. And not only does God keep us ever present in HIS mind this way, when we look to the sky and see the bow, we see, if we have the eyes to do so  “I am THE LORD I change not” (Mal 3:6) and I am still in charge!

The rainbow in the sky helps us remember GOD’S COVENANT, His PROMISE to show us His MERCY and PEACE!

The rainbow is the symbol of the mercy and peace God has placed and programmed in our sky where His throne is  and it surrounds His head so that none of us will forget that we are joined together in an unforgettable COVENANT OF LOVE!

THE RAINBOW IS A SIGN to the whole world at this very hour even in its present upside-down state of persistent pandemic plagues.  These plagues  also   manifest themselves through propaganda across areas of

pharmacology, poor policing policies and practices and the rottenness that has become endemic in all political systems.

“Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong“.

                                Aristotle

Despite all of this The Rainbow even if it is turned upside down it reverts into a smile.  This smile is painted in ALL COLOURS and represents ALL human life!  God and His universe is smiling  on you no matter what colour, culture or classification you identify with.

The world and maybe even The Church may not fully have any understanding of The Rainbow but we can all feast our  eyes on its splendour  nevertheless!

I pray that God will help us all to understand the “times and the seasons” (Ecc 3:1) we find ourselves in and teach us how to speak to the opposing natural and supernatural arbiters, “concisions“ (Phil 3:2),  spiritual forces,“ realms and elements “ around us though prayer and prophetic proclamations ....”Peace be still”!

JANUARY, FEBRUARY, MARCH 2020

I would like to take this opportunity to wish every single one of you God's richest and finest blessings for this first quarter of 2020 and beyond!

So here we find ourselves again in January this month of "Beginnings".  What is your desire for yourself, your loved ones and indeed your communities and our planet for this new season?  God has something great in store for each one of us, but it is up to us to "possess our God-given possessions".

We are called to "follow Jesus" not ourselves or those close to us.  Even when we pray Jesus gave us His example of prayer (Matt 6:9-13, Luke 11:1-4) which begins with "Our".  I would like to encourage you whether in word, deed or prayer to remember the plight and circumstances of others (1Tim 2:1-4) and to daily include the needs of other people and their predicaments in your prayers and meditations.  Make this first quarter of 2020 a Genesis of New Beginnings!

The Bible starts with Genesis so let me declare a "Genesis" of new successes and victories over your own life.  This year could be  YOUR new beginning - the end of cyclical and repetitive patterns.  I challenge you to think different thoughts, do different activities, brake out of and away from, old tendencies...could it be time for a change?  Why not PRAY FOR A CHANGE!  Prayer has an inbuilt ability to change anyone or anything, but prayer has to be prayed...so what are you waiting for...Pray!

THE POWER OF PRAYER

July/August/September

Prayer Academy starts soon - register today!

THE POWER OF PRAYER

And it came to pass, that,
as he was praying in a certain place,
when he ceased, one of his disciples
said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray,
as John also taught his disciples.

Luke.11. 1

I would like to share something with you that caught my attention recently when I was re-reading Luke 11:1.

Jesus had 12 disciples but yet it was only one of them that asked Jesus to teach him how to pray.  Thousands of years later the same attitude and appetite for deeper spiritual insights, knowledge and spiritual information concerning God’s Word would appear  to persist!

There is much talk and sometimes even study on  prayer but how many of us have  earnestly asked God to teach us how to pray or even sought training in this area?  The passage above implies that those who follow Christ need teaching on prayer.  It is important for us to note that the Apostle John taught his disciples to pray, implying that prayer is not just something that is caught but taught!  Many of us learnt how to pray through observing those around us – ie – attending a prayer meeting or church service.  However it seems that there is far more to prayer – there must be if Luke 11:1 is valid!  The disciples spent three years with Jesus – they too observed Him praying. The passage of scripture suggests that they were unable to catch on just by observation!

Have you ever been discipled in prayer and what does your present prayer life look like?

Why did Jesus pray?

One way we can learn to pray is by looking at the prayer life of Jesus. Although the Gospels don’t provide a detailed biography of Christ, they do offer captivating glimpses into His prayer life. So, “Why did Jesus pray?” After all, if Jesus is God, why did Jesus need to pray?

According to The Word of God  there are are several reasons why Jesus prayed.
One such reason is - Jesus prayed as an example to his followers. This is an example we  should continue to practice and learn from, Jesus prayed for others, despite the rebuke of his own disciples (Matthew 19:13).

Hope deferred maketh the heart sick:
but when the desire cometh,
it is a tree of life

Proverbs 13:12 (KJV)

What is it that you need or hope will happen in your life this year?  We are now almost half way through this year already - the fifth/sixth month.  Time has passed so quickly, but despite our dreams and aspirations to achieve  more for our lives, we often fail to do so and begin to lose heart.  Nevertheless you and I still have the ability to dream big dreams and use the vision of our imagination to see  ourselves living and aligning ourselves to a better life and possibly lifestyle.   Every dreams begins with the dreamer!

Dreams can sometimes reflect your deeper desires and The Word of God reminds us all  that  "when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life:"    Desire makes all the difference and helps to generate life within us so that we can fulfil the desires of our hearts. So, are your desires aligned with God's?

It is God's desire to align you with His Word over and above everyone else's.  This month I invite you to align yourself and everything connected to you with The Word of God.  Psalm 119, the longest chapter in The Bible is a helpful tool to use in prayer in order to align your life with the will of God.  It focuses  on the greatness of God’s Word, including His law, His precepts, His testimonies, and His statutes.  This psalm is a reminder -  if you are a follower of God, God calls on you to delight in His Word each day.

Over the coming weeks personalise, pray and read aloud Psalm 119 as your prayer and positive affirmation as part of your prayer time every day.  You will soon begin to experience the transformational change that God's Word is able to bring about.  When you do so,  you will begin to witness changes in and around your life...Don't forget to send me your feedback/Praise Report via this blog page.

God bless you always,
Pastor Avis

Psalm 119 King James Version (KJV)

EXAMPLE:

I am blessed, not defiled, I walk in the law of The Lord

1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
12 Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes.
13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
17 Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.
18 Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
19 I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
20 My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.
21 Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.
22 Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.
23 Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.
24 Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counselors.
25 My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word.
26 I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.
27 Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.
28 My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word.
29 Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.
30 I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.
31 I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O Lord, put me not to shame.
32 I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.
33 Teach me, O Lord, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.
34 Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
35 Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
36 Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
37 Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.
38 Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.
39 Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good.
40 Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.
41 Let thy mercies come also unto me, O Lord, even thy salvation, according to thy word.
42 So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.
43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.
44 So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.
45 And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.
46 I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
47 And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
48 My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.
49 Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
50 This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.
51 The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law.
52 I remembered thy judgments of old, O Lord; and have comforted myself.
53 Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
54 Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
55 I have remembered thy name, O Lord, in the night, and have kept thy law.
56 This I had, because I kept thy precepts.
57 Thou art my portion, O Lord: I have said that I would keep thy words.
58 I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.
59 I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
60 I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
61 The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law.
62 At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.
63 I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.
64 The earth, O Lord, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.
65 Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O Lord, according unto thy word.
66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
67 Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
68 Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.
69 The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.
70 Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law.
71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
72 The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.
73 Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
74 They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.
75 I know, O Lord, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.
76 Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.
77 Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.
78 Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts.
79 Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that have known thy testimonies.
80 Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.
81 My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.
82 Mine eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
83 For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet do I not forget thy statutes.
84 How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
85 The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law.
86 All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.
87 They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.
88 Quicken me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.
89 For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.
90 Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.
91 They continue this day according to thine ordinances: for all are thy servants.
92 Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction.
93 I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.
94 I am thine, save me: for I have sought thy precepts.
95 The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.
96 I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad.
97 O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.
98 Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.
99 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.
100 I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.
101 I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.
102 I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.
103 How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104 Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
106 I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.
107 I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O Lord, according unto thy word.
108 Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O Lord, and teach me thy judgments.
109 My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget thy law.
110 The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.
111 Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
112 I have inclined mine heart to perform thy statutes alway, even unto the end.
113 I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.
114 Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
115 Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.
116 Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.
117 Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.
118 Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood.
119 Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies.
120 My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.
121 I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to mine oppressors.
122 Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.
123 Mine eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.
124 Deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.
125 I am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.
126 It is time for thee, Lord, to work: for they have made void thy law.
127 Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.
128 Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.
129 Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.
130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
131 I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.
132 Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.
133 Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
134 Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.
135 Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes.
136 Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.
137 Righteous art thou, O Lord, and upright are thy judgments.
138 Thy testimonies that thou hast commanded are righteous and very faithful.
139 My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words.
140 Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.
141 I am small and despised: yet do not I forget thy precepts.
142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.
143 Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.
144 The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.
145 I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O Lord: I will keep thy statutes.
146 I cried unto thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies.
147 I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.
148 Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.
149 Hear my voice according unto thy lovingkindness: O Lord, quicken me according to thy judgment.
150 They draw nigh that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.
151 Thou art near, O Lord; and all thy commandments are truth.
152 Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.
153 Consider mine affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.
154 Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word.
155 Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.
156 Great are thy tender mercies, O Lord: quicken me according to thy judgments.
157 Many are my persecutors and mine enemies; yet do I not decline from thy testimonies.
158 I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.
159 Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O Lord, according to thy lovingkindness.
160 Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
161 Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.
162 I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
163 I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.
164 Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.
165 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
166 Lord, I have hoped for thy salvation, and done thy commandments.
167 My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.
168 I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee.
169 Let my cry come near before thee, O Lord: give me understanding according to thy word.
170 Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.
171 My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.
172 My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.
173 Let thine hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.
174 I have longed for thy salvation, O Lord; and thy law is my delight.
175 Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.
176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.
